The historic center of this city has a lot of history. It’s an area formed by pedestrian streets, so you can walk through the entire center on foot. <\/span><\/p>\n

Calle Larios<\/span><\/h3>\n

This street is the most popular and the central axis of the historic center. It’s also where there’s more social, commercial and economic activity, and a meeting point for many. The Alcazaba<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Alcazaba is a Muslim fortress from the 11th century. It’s the most visited monument in Malaga and one of the best-preserved buildings in the city. It’s located on Alcazabilla Street, above the Roman theater of Malaga. <\/span><\/p>\n

It’s considered the little sister of the Alhambra in Granada, because it also has a small palace in the upper area. Moreover, in its gardens and courtyards, you’ll feel like you’re in medieval times. <\/span><\/p>\n

Gibralfaro Castle<\/span><\/h3>\n

This Castle provides one of the best views of the city and the sea. Along with the Alcazaba, it’s one of the best-preserved defensive architecture monuments in Spain. From the center of Malaga, it can take 30 minutes walking. If you don’t want to walk too much, the best way to reach Gibralfaro Castle is by bus. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Cathedral of Malaga, Our Lady of the Incarnation is another monument we can find in the historic center of Malaga. It’s a Renaissance cathedral and is located next to the AC Malaga Palacios hotel. <\/span><\/p>\n
