That&#8217;s why today we&#8217;re going to explain the typical food from Malaga that you must have on your table during your holidays in Andalusian lands.  <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Typical Malaga Dishes<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Malaga is rich in gastronomy and has top-quality local products. From fish brought straight from the sea, to vegetables from the garden, or meats like the Malaga breed goat. However, there are so many dishes that you might not have time to try them all. Here are the most popular ones:    <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>1. Sardine Skewers<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a popular dish that you can only taste in Malaga. It consists of sardines skewered on thin, long canes, which are roasted over wood. It&#8217;s common to find this recipe in beach bars or chiringuitos.   <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>2. Porra Antequerana<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s also known as cold porra. It&#8217;s a cold soup typical of Antequera, made with tomatoes, bread, red pepper, olive oil, salt, vinegar, and garlic. It&#8217;s served with bits of Serrano ham and hard-boiled egg. A hearty and refreshing dish that&#8217;s ideal for the hottest summer days.    <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>3. Malaga Salad<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This salad typical of the province of Malaga is often prepared in summer, as it&#8217;s light and refreshing. Its ingredients are potato, orange, cod, spring onion, olives, and olive oil. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>4. Ajoblanco<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s believed that the origin of ajoblanco comes from Al-Andalus and that it was a mixture of what the population had at hand at that time. This recipe contains breadcrumbs, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, salt, water, and almonds. Ajoblanco is eaten cold and in summer.   <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>5. Conchas Finas or Malaga Clams<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s a variety of clams that can only be found on the Malaga coast. They are orange in color and are usually grilled with a little salt, pepper, and lemon. They&#8217;re so delicious that you&#8217;ll eat them like nothing.   <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>6. Oxtail \u00e0 La Ronda<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another typical food from Malaga, especially in the Ronda area, where there&#8217;s a great bullfighting tradition. It&#8217;s an oxtail stew whose sauce is made with wine, leek, carrot, onions, and spices. It&#8217;s always accompanied by potatoes. There are also other variants that include peas, garlic, or celery.    <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>7. Roasted Suckling Goat<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This dish is very typical in the Axarqu\u00eda area. It&#8217;s prepared with 100% native Malaga breed goat exclusively fed on milk. This meat is obtained when the animal is only one month old. The meat is roasted and seasoned with rosemary, thyme, garlic, salt, and olive oil. It&#8217;s a very tasty and tender dish.     <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>8. Eggplants with Honey <\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A true delicacy that you won&#8217;t be able to resist. They are fried eggplants with cane honey, a simple recipe, but one that seduces any palate. You can find it in the bars of Malaga.   <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>9. Campero Sandwich<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There isn&#8217;t a Malaga native in the world who hasn&#8217;t eaten one of these sandwiches in their life. It&#8217;s a traditional food of the area and it&#8217;s made with a toasted mollete &#8211; a round bread. It contains chicken,   <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ham, cheese, lettuce, and mayonnaise. A sandwich for champions! <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>10. Plato De Los Montes<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s a mixed plate that will surely leave you satisfied. Generally, it includes  <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pork loin, chorizo, and migas (fried breadcrumbs), all accompanied by French fries, egg, and green peppers. Perfect for regaining strength after a good walk.  <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>11. Malaga Olives<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another delicacy from these lands are the Malaga olives. They are fleshy and tasty, with a touch of vinegar. Try them as an appetizer with a \u201cpajarete\u201d wine &#8211; the typical sweet wine from Malaga &#8211; or a soft drink.   <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>12. Crazy Cakes<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s a typical dessert from Malaga that consists of puff pastry and custard, covered with an orange-colored glaze and with a subtle touch of cherry syrup.
